On Saturday, we hosted an officer development class through Traditions Training. We have had Traditions to Fort Washington numerous times over the past several years and they always deliver a great class with real-world knowledge. Columbia, SC Battalion Chief Nick Martin was the class instructor and covered a wide range of topics from leadership to incident command and strategy & tactics. The class was geared towards both current and aspiring fire officers, as well as senior members who may find themselves as an acting officer. Members from Fort as well as departments from all over the area were in attendance and hopefully gained some new knowledge to put to use.
