| This year, our average drill attendance reached an impressive 37 members — a number we're incredibly proud of, especially when so many stories highlight the challenges facing the volunteer fire service today. At the Fort, we're grateful to be telling a different story.
The commitment our members show in training directly translates to the skill, efficiency, and speed we bring to the fire ground. This strong training culture was built by past Chief George Haggar, and we continue to honor his legacy by maintaining the high training standards.
As we close out 2025, I'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helps make our training program possible — with special recognition to Fire Service Administrator Tim Schuck. Tim's unwavering support and efforts in securing acquired structures have been invaluable.
Master the fundamentals, and we’ll keep winning on the fire ground.
Thank you to every member who showed up, trained hard, and made 2025 another strong year at Fort Washington. #TrainingMatters |
