Fire Prevention and Life Safety Programs and Information
The Fort Washington Fire Company is committed to fire prevention, and fire and life safety all year long. But once a year, we host a Fire Prevention and Life Safety Expo. This year, the popular event returns to Loch Alsh Avenue at the Upper Dublin High School location, 800 Loch Alsh Avenue. Mark your calendars - the Expo will be October 12th, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
No reason to wait for the Expo, however, to learn how to prevent fire, burn injuries, property loss, and tragically death. "Life Safety" is a mindset, and refers to practices, measures and behavior designed to minimize risk and danger to us all.
