Morris Road Dwelling Fire

May 16

On Wednesday May 15 @ 14:15hrs Box 41-38 was dispatched for a reported house on fire in the 500 block of Morris Road. Units arrived on scene with fire showing from the first floor of a single family dwelling. Ladder 7 (Wissahickon) arrived first and operated as the first due truck company. Engine 88 arrived next, secured a water supply and stretched (2) 1.75" hose lines to extinguish the fire. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Monday's drill was focused on a wide area search for a missing person in Twining Valley Park

Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1, May 14

The goals of this drill were to use a unified command structure with Upper Dublin Township Police Department and Montgomery County Department of Public Safety and to utilize the assets and expertise of the Montgomery County Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team, including drones to assist.
