| After our Monday night drill, the new Squad 88-1 was officially placed in service. This unit is a 2015 Pierce Arrow XT with seating for 6 and is designed to effectively serve as an engine company and light rescue company, as the apparatus committee set out to build a functional unit to serve the needs of our local area. The Squad has two bumper lines, 3 rear pre-connects, a full compliment of Holmatro tools and stabilization equipment. It is also equipped with Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) equipment and rope rescue equipment. |
