On Sunday morning February 24, 2019 Stations 44 & 88 were dispatched to a reported vehicle accident with fire at the E/B off ramp at the Fort Washington Interchange of the PA Turnpike. Deputy 44 and Squad 88 arrived to find a vehicle had left the road and hit a tree head on down an embankment. Squad 88 stretched a 200ft 1.75" hose line to extinguish a small fire in the engine compartment.
