Engine, Chief & Battalion 88 responded on the 1st alarm assignment to a basement fire in Horsham township. Engine 88 checked the exposure and then advanced an 1.75" line into the basement where they found a well advanced basement fire. Conditions deteriorated and command had all units back out of the building. Units operated for about 3hrs before returning to service.
