One of our training priorities is conducting drills in the neighborhoods and properties we actually serve whenever possible |

| Training in real-world environments provides challenges and obstacles that can't always be replicated on the training grounds, helping prepare our members for the situations they may encounter on an actual emergency. Members stretched both 200-foot and 300-foot 1¾-inch handlines to multiple addresses throughout the complex, navigating courtyards and narrow alleyways between buildings. The drill focused on proper hose deployment techniques, line selection, and decision-making in a slower-paced learning environment that allowed members to discuss and reinforce operational concepts along the way. As we continue to build on these fundamentals, future drills will increase the pace and complexity to further develop our members' proficiency and readiness. Thank you to the residents and management of Butler Park Condominiums for allowing us the opportunity to train in their community. |
