| We were very fortunate to have Chief Tony Kelleher, Assistant Chief of Operations with DCFD, join us to talk about how firefighters, drivers, company officers, and chiefs all fit into the command structure during an incident. Understanding how each position works together is critical to running safe and effective operations. Chief Kelleher previously visited Fort Washington Fire Company back in 2011 for an Engine Company class with Traditions Training, and his influence helped push our training program forward. It was great to have him back at Station 88 sharing his experience and knowledge with our members. We appreciate Chief Kelleher taking time out of his busy schedule to come speak with us and help continue strengthening our training program. Training nights like this help ensure we stay prepared to serve the community when the call comes in. |
