Rescue 88 responded as the RIT to a 1st alarm dwelling fire in Springfield Township. Just as the rescue was arriving chief 6 put the crew to work as a ladder company and added the next due RIT. The rescues crew deployed (5) portable ladders then entered the rear of the dwelling to assist with opening up and hitting hot spots. The rescue returned to service after about an hour.
