Today just before noon, 88 was dispatched to 601 Office Center Drive for an unknown type fire. Montco 911 was getting several calls reporting a dumpster on fire and the side of the building on fire so Chief 88 asked for the box to be filled out. Units arrived with a construction dumpster on fire that had extended to the building via a trash chute being used during renovations. Engine 88 arrived and began knocking down the exterior fire, while SD88-1 laid a supply line and checked the interior for fire extension. After investigation, it was determined that the fire had not spread to the building's interior and the assignment was held to Engine 88, Squad 88-1 and Tower 88.
