The Fort Washington Fire Company recently received notification that the Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating for Upper Dublin Township has improved from a 2014 rating of 4 to a 2022 rating of 3. (1 being the best, 10 being the worst). This rating is used to determine insurance rates and is based upon an evaluation of a number of factors, including emergency communications, fire department training & equipment maintenance, water supply and community risk reduction. To put this into perspective, Upper Dublin ranks in the 85th percentile of all evaluated municipalities nationwide.
