The Fort Washington Fire Company will be escorting Santa Claus (and the Grinch) by fire truck through Upper Dublin Township on Sunday, December 19th starting at 6pm. We will travel the same three routes (Dasher, Prancer, and Blitzen) as we did in 2020.
We are providing two no siren/emergency light opportunities for families that have sensory concerns. The first will be along the Blitzen route and will be at Queen of Peace Catholic Church (approximately 6:15). The second will be along the Dasher route and will be at Saint Alphonsus Church of Maple Glen, Pa. (approximately 6:40). Maps of how Santa will travel through the churches' parking lots are included.
The FWFC will be using the app Glympse this year which will allow families to track Santa’s progress. Links for the three routes will be posted on Facebook at 5:30 on December 19th.
Please keep in mind that the Fort Washington Fire Company will remain in service during the event and will be responding to emergency calls. We will post on Facebook if we are going to be delayed.
