School Visits

Each year, the Fort Washington Fire Company visits each of the public and parochial schools in Upper Dublin Township, presenting fire safety / fire prevention programs.  In conjunction with our visits, we ask that all of these children participate in our coloring pages or poster contests (depends on age).  The contests are distributed to the schools in late August, prior to the beginning of the school year, and collected in mid-September.  All entries that we receive are judged, with first, second, and third place winners selected in each grade for each school.  All winning entries are displayed at our Fire Expo which is held at the Upper Dublin Township Building.  Trophies and medals are presented to each winner during our school visits,
