The Fire Company recently placed two new utility vehicles in service
Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1, April 18
These GMC 3500 trucks feature full compartmentation, scene lighting and hydraulic lift gates. The trucks will be used for traffic control, transporting manpower and offer enhanced towing for our 4 water rescue inflatable boats. Utility 88 is housed at our main station and Utility 88-1 is housed at our Burn Brae station.... (Full Story & Photos)

Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1, March 26
Vulcan Fire Training Concepts LLC in for a hands-on “Man vs. Machinery” class. Crews rotated through several stations that involved removing victims stuck in various types of machinery as well as different methods of ring removal.
